Description
This half-day online course explains how pupils make meaningful progress in physical education. The course includes ideas, resources and routines to use in the classroom. For all primary school teachers, this course builds on the messages in the DPSI physical education subject leadership course.
Informed by the HMI subject review and current curriculum thinking, the course covers how to:

plan meaningful learning in physical education

secure key knowledge

identify and emphasise crucial content that helps children to get better at physical education

make sure children know more, remember more and can do more in physical education.
Attendees will come away with lots of helpful information about effective curriculum design and classroom practice in physical education.
