Over the last year subject leads across the Trust have been empowered to evaluate and develop their curriculums and understand the approaches and priorities of assessment with a research informed approach. Staff have been inspired to know their curriculums and progression more precisely. It has been time well spent as staff now thoroughly own and understand the curriculum choices and priorities. Quality implementation and measuring impact has so much more meaning when you really understand what you precisely want children to know and remember.

Your explanation of progress, fluency and the difference in knowledge and skills was delivered with clarity and the research behind your presentation so interesting. You have an extensive knowledge of the role of subject leaders and the EIF and an extensive knowledge of what really works and the research behind the training was terrific. The training was fast paced, informative and delivered in such an engaging way. This ensured delegates left with a wealth of ideas and practical examples for the subject leader to take back to school. Thank you.

Absolutely brilliant. Really got me thinking about what I need to do moving forward with my subject LM. subject leader, Heycroft School, Essex
The EYFS progression course has proven to be a transformative experience for staff members, particularly those without a specialised background in early years education such as myself. The course's effectiveness lies in its ability to demystify the small steps of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, providing a comprehensive understanding of how it unfolds and progresses. It was very helpful when planning our own curriculum
The Primary Music Progression Course has proven instrumental in guiding my new subject leader through a comprehensive understanding of music education progression. Its tailored curriculum has empowered my music subject leader to navigate the intricacies of structuring and advancing musical learning within primary education. Particularly noteworthy is its efficacy in offering insights on showcasing effective progression in music education
BEN CALDICOTT. HEADTEACHER, ST JAMES PRIMARY SCHOOL, HEREFORD
Our subject leaders attended subject leader training alongside me as head of primary. Diane shared a wealth of up-to-date knowledge from the recent research reviews alongside her knowledge as a lead inspector. It was powerful to attend together, both to celebrate what we are doing well in these subjects and to identify what needs to be developed further. The training gave staff confidence in managing their subject and they came away with very clear actions for developing their subject further, to reflect the latest guidance.
CATH LYTH, HEAD OF PRIMARY, TMBSS, SHROPSHIRE

Very well structured making the links between the EYFS curriculum and the National Curriculum very clear for every single subject area, as well as giving many fantastic ideas for developing and enhancing the curriculum further. I highly recommend this course for not just early years leads, but also for all early years staff and everyone involved in curriculum planning throughout the school.

I’ve had amazing feedback from my subject leaders about your training. It is so refreshing for me to hear that the money spent is having a real impact in school…leaders so far have come back extremely positive, reassured that their work so far is on the right path and re-energised to continue making improvements.
SUE BLYTH. HEADTEACHER/SIA/LLE, FOURFIELDS COMMUNITY PRIMARY, CAMBRIDGESHIRE
Diane has a wealth of experience and expertise. Our staff really benefited from the training. Governors, Teachers, support staff and volunteers attended the morning and all had a clear picture of what was expected in schools. Reading is often something that we take for granted checking that everyone is teaching accurately and creating the correct culture in their school can only accelerate progress.
Educating the child takes the whole team. This training has reinforced the need for every single member of staff to do their part to enhance the curriculum. If we are clear on what we are teaching, and why, the children will be too. Diane presents information in a clear coherent manner and responds well to the needs of the organisation. Thank you

CB. HOLMER CE ACADEMY
Diane's work across our two small primary schools has provided us with both the support and challenge required to move forward at a fast pace. Diane has vast experience of leading, inspecting and supporting small schools, which has been invaluable as we have embarked on class restructures, curriculum overhauls and preparation for the new framework in our own small, mixed-age settings. With Diane's support, school systems for monitoring teaching and learning have developed rapidly, and our staff have benefited hugely from the peer-to-peer support organised within Diane's own school.
DEB SADLER, EXECUTIVE HEADTEACHER, TILSTOCK & LOWER HEATH, SHROPSHIRE
Just a note to let you know how useful the training was … staff right across the board were able to take things away from it …. all were saying how your delivery and discussion made it very accessible. Thank you.
CR. HEADTEACHER, GRANBY JUNIOR SCHOOL, DERBYSHIRE
When working with Diane, I had full confidence in her knowledge. Her approach was informative and open. She worked closely with our science, English and art & design teams, which has empowered staff and provided them with confidence when completing internal revews and leading curriculum. I would not hesitate to recommend Diane in working with secondary colleagues
SONIA TAYLOR. HEADTEACHER, GROVE SECONDARY SCHOOL, SHROPSHIRE
You were very approachable and put all the staff at ease. The whole process was slick and very professional. We were very clear about what the deep dive would entail and were then able to mirror the review model presented for further in school monitoring.
I found the pupil conferencing technique used very illuminating, not only what pupils said (didn't say!) but how you constantly got pupils to articulate how the work linked to previous learning and to look back at previous learning to help them remember/make links.
The reports were succinct presenting strengths and giving clear and concise areas for development. The process has helped staff understand the shift in thinking and how the development of a progressive mastery curriculum is now integral to the inspection progress.
ZC. HEADTEACHER, LONGLANDS SCHOOL, SHROPSHIRE
The training provided by Dianne has enabled my staff to think about their subject areas differently and extend their personal knowledge and understanding. This has resulted in them being stronger and more effective subject leaders.
